  1. Bolton are planning a sensational transfer swoop for veteran Real Madrid midfielder Guti.
  2. Gary Megson, Bolton Boss is preparing a deal for Guti to join in January with the midfielder set to earn £2 million in wages for half-a-season, although faces competition from Turkish side Besiktas.
  3.  Guti is expected to be shown round the Reebok Stadium in the coming days and could follow in the footsteps of former Real Madrid stars Ivan Campo and Fernando Hierro who also had spells at Bolton.
  4.  A fall-out with head coach Manuel Pellegrini means Guti is set to leave the Bernabeu in the January transfer window, despite having a season-and-a-half left on his contract at Real Madrid.
  5. He has reportedly told friends that his position with Los Blancos is "unsustainable".
  6.  The central midfielder has not played in the Primera Division or Champions League since the end of October and has made just nine appareances for Real Madrid this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
